LIMITED LIFETIME RESIDENTIAL WARRANTY
The Builders Collection is produced utilizing the latest Statistical Quality Control Practices and Procedures. Utilizing state of the art digital measuring instruments, the production process is constantly monitored to assure consistent quality products are produced. The quality focus along with the expertise of our production staff and the use of only the finest raw materials available, gives us the confidence to offer this Limited Lifetime Residential Warranty. The Lifetime Residential Warranty is a three tier warranty as described below:

PRE-INSTALLATION WARRANTY
McCormick Hardwood Floors warrants this product meets or exceeds industry standards. The installer should inspect the flooring prior to installation for any defects. Any defects should be reported, and we will arrange for replacement flooring to be provided. McCormick accepts no responsibility for costs incurred when a floor with visible defects has been installed.

LIFETIME STRUCTURAL WARRANTY
The Builders Collection is laminated using the most advanced flooring technology available. We guarantee that the engineered flooring is free from defects in lamination and milling and will remain free of these defects for as long as the original purchaser owns their home. In the unlikely event of delamination, warping, cupping or buckling of the product because of manufacturing defects, McCormick will replace or repair the defective flooring pieces at no cost to you.

ULTRA-DURA 5 YEAR FINISH WARRANTY
The Prefinished Builders Collection is finished with ULTRA-DURA finish. It is one of the most durable ultraviolet cured acrylic urethane finishes on the market. We warranty that there will be no wearthrough of the finish for a period of 5 years under normal residential usage, provided that the recommended maintenance procedures are followed.

EXCLUSIONS TO WARRANTY
The following are excluded from the warranty: Improper Installation-The floor must be installed in accordance to McCormick's Instructions.
Improper Maintenance-Maintenance instructions must be followed. Wet mopping will void this warranty.
Extreme Conditions-The humidity level in the home must be maintained at 35-55% range throughout the year using air conditioners, humidifiers or dehumidifiers as needed.
Abuse or Misuse-This warranty does not cover damage caused by stiletto heels, heavy furniture or equipment, pet claws, pebbles or sand.
Moisture Damage-This warranty does not cover damage caused by moisture penetration through the subfloor, flooding, leaking plumbing, overflowing sinks or similar moisture related damages.
Ultraviolet Light Damage-This warranty does not cover damage caused by ultraviolet light. Wood products will change color when exposed to ultraviolet light.
Natural Variations-Wood is a natural product, containing natural variations in tone, color and grain. We do not warranty against natural variations in color within the floor nor variations between samples and the installed floor.
Insect Infestation-This warranty does not cover any insect infestation after the product has left the factory.

McCormick Hardwood Floors excludes and will not pay consequential or incidental damages under this warranty Repair, refinish or replacement of flooring material is the sole remedy The warranty does not include the cost of labor if installed by anyone other than professional installers. It does not apply to any products designated or sold as 13-grade, which is sold "as is". There are no warranties, including merchantability or fitness, for a particular purpose, express or implied other than those in this warranty. This warranty will not be deemed to have failed its essential purpose while McCormick Hardwood Floors is willing to repair or replace defective goods at their discretion. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental consequential damages and therefore, this exclusion may not apply This warranty gives you specific legal rights which may vary from state to state.
